Fairtytale is the first word that comes to mind when we think about Sintra. It’s an historical village in a mystical hill with the Castels and Palaces surrounding it.

With a specific microclimate which made the Portuguese nobility build palaces over the centuries to avoid the hot temperatures in Lisbon. It is nowadays World Heritage Site declared by Unesco and it’s vitited buy millions of people every year.

Two great options to visit in Sintra for a day trip is Quinta da Regaleira and Palácio da Pena.

The perfect way to end the day is going to Cabo da Roca, the most western point in Europe and watch the sunset there.
